The Singapore Civil Defense Forces launched an investigation after the editors of the Singapore newspaper Straits Times received a suspicious package, according to the website.

"The suspicious package was delivered to the editor of the Straits Times. This was reported to the police, and Singapore’s civil defense forces are investigating," said newspaper editor Warren Fernandez.

According to the publication, a suspicious package was received on Friday. After contact with the letter that was sent from abroad, three editorial staff members reported that they felt dizzy. The Singapore Civil Protection Service (SCDF) arrived at the scene.
