Finance Minister Oksana Markarova has said that the state budget for 2019 envisages UAH 58 billion for subsidies, which is enough to provide financial assistance to all who needs it.
"The projected total amount for subsidies is UAH 58 billion, of which UAH 55 billion is for a standard subsidy program ... The standard program will be financed in full to provide subsidies to everyone who is entitled to them. The second program will be launched as pilot and we will transfer to full monetization by the end of the year,” she said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The Finance Minister also stressed that, together with the Social Policy Ministry, they are carrying out verification of the recipients of subsidies.

"Our and the Social Policy Ministry’s final calculations show that the amount projected in the state budget is sufficient to provide subsidies to everyone who needs them in 2019," she said.
