Militants launched 11 attacks on Ukrainian positions, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements twice, in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.
“In particular, the enemy fired 82mm mortars on JFO positions near Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol) and Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

Ukrainian strongholds outside Bolotene (21km east of Luhansk), Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Slavne (25km south-west of Donetsk), Taramchuk (30km south-west of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Hnutove and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) came under grenade launcher, heavy machine gun and small arms fire.

One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in last day.

According to the intelligence, one invader was killed and two more were wounded on December 28.

Today, despite the declared New Year truce, the enemy has fired grenade launchers on Ukrainian troops near Zalizne (39km north of Donetsk). No casualties among Ukrainian troops have been reported.
