Turkey is set to continue cooperation with the United States over the US force’s pullout from Syria, Turkish Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said on Tuesday after talks with White House national security adviser John Bolton.

"Turkey will be interacting with the United States over their troops’ withdrawal from Syria. Ankara will not allow the US force’s pullout to give any chance to terrorist organizations", Kalin said aired by Haberturk television channel.

Besides, Erdogan’s spokesman said there were no delays in US troops’ withdrawal from Syria. According to Kalin, "the main thing [in that process] is the future of US military outposts in Syria and of the weapons handed over [by Washington] to the Kurdish People’s Defense Units"

Kalin pointed out that Ankara "will be making steps to protect the civilian population in Turkey, including the Kurds.".
