General producer of TV channel “Match TV” Tina Kandelaki will cooperate with RT, RBC reports, citing a source close to the top Manager. This information was confirmed by another source close to the leadership channel. According to him, the contract was signed in March for a period of one year.

Familiar Kandelaki said that she will combine work on the RT with the “Match TV” that is not inconsistent with its labor contract with the holding company “Gazprom-Media”, which includes the sports channel. According to RBC, the work will be linked to the website of the Russian edition of the broadcaster russian.rt.com. Kandelaki RBC confirmed the information about the beginning of cooperation with RT, refusing further comment.

Kandelaki long been familiar with the chief editor of RT Margarita Simonyan. In 2013 they both led a weekly talk show, “the Iron lady” on NTV. According to the website, “the idea of a format owned by a leading which, in their words, “bored to sit quietly” when you have something to say on the topics that causes heated debate in society.”
