Tesla fans are calling on European authorities to repeal restrictive self-driving rules which they say “cripple” the company's Autopilot system.

Owners are complaining about changes to the flagship driver assistance system, which put stricter limitations on lane changes.

Tesla’s Autopilot system has been used on European roads as part of its earlier car models for almost four years, but the California-based company has recently had to update its systems to comply with new UN regulations which were adopted by the EU last year.
