Pope Francis wants the Church to take an interest in the Amazon.

The synod of bishops on the Amazon will take place in the Vatican in four months. Prelates from all over the world, but especially from Latin America will be present to floor on the protection of the largest forest of the planet and its inhabitants, today threatened. The Church, at the request of Pope Francis will therefore put the Amazon on the front of the stage. The working document of this synod on this region of the world was made public yesterday; one of the novelties in this text is that the Church should be on the ordination of married men.
