A Ukrainian delegation will participate in the 46th Apimondia International Apicultural Congress, which will take place in Montreal from September 8 to September 12, 2019, Ukraine's Embassy in Canada has reported.
"For the first time, Ukraine will be represented by the National Stand where you will have a possibility to taste the honey products from leading Ukrainian honey makers. There will be an opportunity to meet Ukrainian beekeepers as well," the report reads.

The National Stand (booth B8) is co-organized by the Ukrainian Association of Honey Exporters and Processors and the Union of Ukrainian Beekeepers with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The National Ukrainian Evening will take place on the margins of the Congress.

Ukraine is one of the world's top five producers and exporters of raw honey. Ukrainian producers export about 60,000 tonnes of honey every year.
