The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv has congratulated the new members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation on the start of important work.
“It’s an exciting day for Ukrainian democracy! We congratulate the new members of the Verkhovna Rada and wish them all the best as they begin their important work in support of the Ukrainian people who elected them,” the embassy wrote on its Twitter account.

As Ukrinform reported, snap parliamentary elections were held in Ukraine on July 21, 2019.

The Central Election Commission registered 424 MPs.
