Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Danylyuk and representatives of Westinghouse Electric Corporation (USA) discussed bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
"A meeting of Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Danylyuk with the representatives of Westinghouse Electric Corporation took place today. During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation, intensification of energy cooperation, in particular with a view to enhancing nuclear and energy security," the NSDC press service reported on September 2.

As noted, further cooperation with the company to implement projects on the integration of Ukrainian and European energy systems, as well as attracting the latest technologies to improve the sustainability of Ukraine's energy system, had been defined as priority areas of work.
