
























As of August 15, 2019, a total of 3,339 civilians were killed as a result of the conflict in Donbas.
Head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Matilda Bogner stated this while presenting a report on the human rights situation in Ukraine between May 16 and August 15, 2019, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Between 16 May and 15 August 2019, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) recorded 68 conflict-related civilian casualties: eight killed and 60 injured. Some 56 of these casualties, including nine children, were caused by shelling and fire from small arms. In total, as of August 15, 3,339 civilians were killed,” she said.
