Ukraine has pumped 21.25 billion cubic meters of natural gas into its underground storage facilities.
Chief Executive Officer of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolyev wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"We are ready to protect the energy independence of our country next winter – gas reserves in Ukraine’s underground storage facilities exceeded 21 billion cubic meters," he wrote.

Kobolyev also provided operational data as of 6:00 on October 14: "Transit: 194.6; Ukraine’s imported gas: 60.2 (including Russian gas: 0, including gas from EU countries: 60.2); gas volumes in underground storage facilities: 21,025.080”.

As Ukrinform reported, last week Kobolyev reported that Ukraine would have 21 billion cubic meters of natural gas in its underground storage facilities by the beginning of the heating season.

On October 9, JSC Ukrtransgaz completed preparations of Ukraine’s gas transmission system for the 2019/2020 autumn-winter season.
