The United Nations states that the conflict in eastern Ukraine is the “oldest” one in the world.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) wrote about this on its Twitter account on November 13.
"The conflict in eastern Ukraine is the "oldest" one in the world, with the elderly accounting for 30% of people in need," the report reads.
OCHA also added that more than 560,000 elderly had lost access to their pensions due to "bureaucratic hurdles."
About 1.4 million people were displaced as a result of the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
