
























During an official stay in the city of Kherson, Ambassador of Germany in Ukraine Anka Feldhusen has visited the grave of murdered activist Kateryna Handziuk.
The Embassy of Germany wrote about this on its official Twitter account.
“In Kherson, the day begins with silent honoring the memory: ‘Kateryna Handziuk. We remember. Let's not forget!
The German ambassador stressed that the murder of Kateryna Handziuk must not go unpunished.
On July 31, 2018, an acid attack was committed on activist Kateryna Handziuk near the entrance to her house in Kherson. Burns covered 40 percent of her body. She underwent several operations but died on November 4, 2018.
On June 6, 2019, five executors of the attack were sentenced from three to six years of imprisonment. At the same time, the organizer and mediators of the attack have not yet been convicted or punished.
