Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov met with Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the United States Embassy in Ukraine Kristina Kvien on Monday evening, NSDC’s press service has reported.
"During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of the investigation of the Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737 flight PS 752 plane crash in Iran," the report says.

According to Secretary Danilov, the Ukrainian side is currently waiting for the arrival of a representative of the Iranian investigation team. The NSDC secretary also noted that part of the expert group, the rescue workers particularly, who had been working on the crash site from the very beginning, are returning to Ukraine. "The main part of the experts are staying in Tehran," he added.

In turn, Kristina Kvien expressed sincere condolences from the U.S. Embassy for the tragedy. She also assured of the readiness of the American side to provide all necessary assistance and information during the investigation.
