Latvia plans to open an honorary consulate in Donbas this year, Latvian Ambassador to Ukraine Juris Poikans has said.
He said this in Kramatorsk at a round table meeting titled "Reintegration of Donbas. A European Perspective" on January 15, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"We are planning to open an honorary consulate. I very much hope that this year the honorary consulate will become a point of cooperation between the countries. And I think it is also important to Donbas," the ambassador said.
