Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko will earn a record amount in his professional career in a fight against Teofimo Lopez.
Entering the ring against the 22-year-old Honduran-American will bring Lomachenko $4.5 million, according to Mixsport.pro.
"Even after paying taxes and fees to the promoter and the manager, Vasyl will still have about $2.5 million left, which he traditionally shares fifty-fifty with his coach and father, Anatoliy Lomachenko," the report reads.
The Ukrainian has already earned over $15 million in his professional boxing career.
The Lomachenko-Lopez unification bout will take place this spring. The venue and the date of the fight may be disclosed next week.
