
























Real gross domestic product (GDP) in Ukraine grew by 0.1% in the fourth quarter of 2019 compared to the third quarter of 2019 and by 1.5% compared to the fourth quarter of 2018, the State Statistics Service has reported.
"Real GDP increased by 0.1% in the fourth quarter of 2019 compared to the previous quarter (taking into account the seasonal factor) and by 1.5% compared to the fourth quarter of 2018," the report reads.
Ukraine's real GDP increased by 4.1% in the third quarter of 2019 year-on-year (tentative data showed GDP growth of 4.2%).
In the second quarter of 2019, Ukraine's GDP grew by 4.6% compared to the same period of 2018, and growth in the first quarter was 2.5%.
In early February 2020, the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture released data that in 2019, economic activity remained at a fairly high level – the pace of GDP growth was estimated at 3.3%, almost the same as in 2018.
