Moderate avalanche danger is expected in Ukraine’s Carpathian mountains.
The State Emergency Service reported this with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center's forecasts.

"On March 16, moderate (2) level of avalanche risk is expected in the mountainous areas of Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions,” the report reads.
