Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba have held a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Fan Xianrong, according to a report on the prime minster’s Telegram channel.
“We have discussed the issues of economic cooperation and the fight of both countries against the coronavirus spread. We share the view of the ambassador that in the wake of the world’s global problem, all countries should consolidate and become one family,” Shmyhal said.

He thanked the Chinese side for an offering to provide emergency humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.

In addition, during the meeting, the parties discussed trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and agreed to resume the work of the Ukrainian-Chinese Intergovernmental Commission.

Shmyhal also thanked the Chinese side for its continued support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
