
























More than 23,000 Ukrainians have returned home from abroad thanks to the efforts of diplomats, yet as many citizens have to be evacuated.
"So far, we have managed to provide more than 23,000 Ukrainians with an opportunity to return home from abroad. We still face the challenge of returning the same number of people – 23 thousand," Deputy Foreign Minister Yehor Bozhok said at online briefing for the overseas diplomatic corps.
He noted that 8,000 Ukrainians had returned yesterday and more than 117 low-cost flights had been operated on Wednesday and Thursday.
"Today we have about 42 scheduled flights from Egypt, Germany, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Spain, Cyprus, the UAE, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, the Dominican Republic, Israel, Lithuania, Switzerland, Sweden and France," Bozhok informed.
In addition, two specialized trains will return people from Przemyśl (Poland) and Riga (Latvia), running through Vilnius (Lithuania) and Minsk (Belarus) in the next few days.
