Five new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past 24 hours, the medical forces command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has reported.
"Twenty-eight cases of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 have been recorded in the Ukrainian Armed Forces as of 07:00 on April 16. Of these, one person recovered, and one died," the report reads.

A total of 274 people are in isolation (including self-isolation). The number of servicemen whose isolation is coming to an end in the next three days is 40 people, the report said.

A total of 4,161 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Ukraine as of early Thursday, April 16. Some 397 new cases have reported over the past 24 hours.
