Ukraine is ready to fully ensure Qatar’s food security and export high-quality agricultural products.
The possibility of supplying Ukrainian food products to other countries in the region through Qatar is also being discussed, Deputy Head of the President’s Office Ihor Zhovkva told Ukrinform.

“Ukraine is ready to fully ensure Qatar’s food security by exporting high-quality agricultural products. Moreover, during the talks, the leaders discussed the possibility of using Qatar’s logistics network to supply Ukrainian food products to other countries in the region,” Zhovkva said.

He added that during the visit of President Zelensky to Qatar, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hassad Food, Qatar’s premier investor in the food and agri-business sectors. According to the Deputy Head of the President’s Office, this document will simplify and speed up the level of Ukraine-Qatar communication in the field of food security.

As reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska made a visit to the State of Qatar on April 5.
